My favorite products that you can buy at Sephora are the Sephora Favorites sets: sets with a theme (the Give Me Some Lip sets are really popular) like nude lipsticks, highlighters, products for curly hair, perfume samples etc. The sets contain products (mostly trial size with one or two full size) from different brands and with different formulas. It’s the perfect way to try out new products and build you stash!
Around the Holidays, Sephora launches a lot of these Sephora Favorites sets. There were some really nice sets and for myself I choose to purchase the Sephora Favorites Give Me More Lip set. There are so many lippies in this set for a really good price that I couldn’t resist!
This set retails for 68 USD and contains a value of 254 USD. You get 15 lipproducts of which 5 are full sized! I always love trial sized products but 5 full sized products make the deal even better!
Here we have the swatches of the products. As you can see, shimmer, matte and glossy are all in this set. Most colors are nude or mauve what makes this set perfect for me. I can imagine that if you like bright or really dark colors more that this would not be for you, but for everyone like me that loves to wear a mauve or nude lip, this is for you!

Missing in the pictures and swatches: Sephora Collection – Cream Lip Stain in #01 Always Red (because I gifted that one to a friend just after I got the set). And missing in the swatches for a reason I don’t remember (weird, I know haha) are also Urban Decay Cosmetics – Vice Lipstick in Big Bang and Huda Beauty – Liquid Matte in Bombshell.
Time for the complete (besides the Sephora Collection one though) lip swatches and review!
Yves Saint Laurent – Rouge Pur Couture in N 01, Le Rouge
This lipstick is so so so pigmented and creamy! I love the finish on my lips: it doesn’t smear to much and it just pops with color. It’s creamy and shiny but does not look like a watery formula or anything. It feels comfortable on the lips. Definitely a lipstick I would repurchase! Just in a different color :).
Marc Jacobs Beauty – Le Marc Lip Crème in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
This is one of my two favorite colors in this lipset! The lipstick is really creamy, the formula made it almost slippery to apply the lipstick. The color is really pigmentated and applies beautifully.
Bobbi Brown – Luxe Lip Color in Brocade
Good pigmentation, a bit hard to apply because of the shape of the lipstick. When you apply to many layers the lipstick on your lips moves a bit, making it hard to apply to color evenly. Wears comfortable, looks nice on the lips. It’s a shiny formula but not too much. Just alright!
Too Faced – Melted Latex Liquified High Shine Lipstick in Hot Mess
I really love this color, the shine of it and how it looks overall on my lips. But the formula… ugh ugh! It feels gross to apply it on your lips and even worse to wear. It has a strong kind of fruity but also chemical smell. Horrible! Too bad because I love the finish, but I will not wear this one again.
Urban Decay Cosmetics – Vice Lipstick in Big Bang
The clearly present glitter in this lipstick made me a bit sceptic: I did not think the formula could be nice and I didn’t expect much on how it would like on my lips. I actually really like this one though! The application goes really smooth and the lipstick feels like any other lipstick. The downside is that the color makes my lips look smaller but I do really like the finish.
Wander Beauty – Wanderout Dual Lipstick in Nikki Beach / B.B.
I really like this Wander Beauty lipstick. You carry one lippie but it contains 2 colors! It’s a crème nude pink and a matte bright pink color. The formula of both is nice. I do prefer the matte bright pink one though because it is pigmented better.
Anastasia Beverly Hills – Lip Gloss in Vintage
I love this gloss! It’s a nice nude pink with brown undertone and with a tiny glitter, making the gloss glowy. It’s really pigmented and applies easily and even. It’s not too sticky, just a nice lipgloss formula.
Touch in Sol – Metallist Liquid Foil Lipstick Duo in #5 Jasmine (Brownie)
This lippie is good for mixed feelings! Brown has never been a lipcolor for me and the same goes for metallic liquid lipsticks, but I was really curious. The liquid lipstick is quite hard to apply. When you want to make the color show up more (the pigmentation is not the best), the products moves around a lot making even application almost impossible. I am not a fan of the metallic liquid lipstick. The gloss however (bottom two pictures, the gloss over the metallic liquid lipstick) is great! Really pigmented and it gives a beautiful shine. It could have been a little less sticky but besides that, I really like it! Still not a fan though of the brown color on my lips, but it’s less awful than I expected.
Smashbox – Always On Liquid Lipstick in Driver’s Seat
Together with the Marc Jacobs Beauty lipstick, this one is my favorite of the set! This liquid lipstick is really easy to apply, pigmentation is great, dries fast and comfortable, it stays put for a long time and it does not feel drying to my lips. I also really like this color.
Hourglass – Girl Lip Stylo in Influencer
This lippie feels like a lip balm to me with a little bit of pigmentation. It’s shiny, comfortable and hydrating on the lips. A little bit more pigmentation wouldn’t have hurt but however, it’s a nice lippie. Doesn’t stand out but it’s also not bad at all!
Tarte – Rainforest of the Sea quench lip rescue in nude
Interesting packaging! It feels like a cardboard tube… hopefully it lives a while! This lippie is really hydrating and comfortable for the lips. It has a strong mint scent to it and it makes my lips tingle a little bit.
Laura Mercier Cosmetics – Velour Lovers Lip Colour Sensual in Muted Pink
Nice to wear, easy to apply and good pigmentation. Semi matte finish I would call it. The color is a bit too light for what I like but the lipstick itself is really nice!
Huda Beauty – Liquid Matte in Bombshell
This liquid lipstick applies great and easy and the pigmentation is really nice. It dries fast but unfortunately on my lips it kept being sticky for a long time. When the product completely dried it was a bit too dry for me on my lips. It is a nice long wearing liquid lipstick though, but for me it’s not my favorite formula.
Dior – Lip Maximizer in Pink 001
I think it’s really nice that this Dior Lip Maximizer was also included in the set because it’s a luxury product and a bit different than the other glosses, lipsticks and balms. I also own the full sized product (see the pictures above) and I like it a lot! To show how shiny the product is, I applied it on top of the Huda Beauty Liquid Matte.
As you can see, this set is totally worth your money! There are maybe 4 products that I wouldn’t necessarily use again, but the others are some real hits for me!
This specific kit is not available anymore unfortunately, but there are some other nice new kits online though!
