I know it’s Primark Beauty again, but I really have to share this gem with you guys before it sells out! 🙂
When I saw the first pictures of the PS K-Pop collection, I fell in love! The whole collection is inspired on Korean Beauty (K-Pop stands for Korean Pop, the famous music genre) and contains a lot of pastel colors and cute items. Perfect for spring!
There’s a whole collection with an eyeshadow palette, cheek tints, cushion blushes, eyeliners, lip products and liquid highlighters, but I decided to only pick up these two products: a cheek palette and one of the cheek tints. The Sweet Cheeks palette because I know I will definitely be using it often and the Super Cheeky Cheek Tint because I was really curious how it would look on me.
The Super Cheeky Cheek Tint retails for only €3,50 and contains a lot of product: 23 ml (0.77 US FL Oz.). This guy is available in two colors: this light pink (‘Bubblegum’) and a more peachy brown color. I thought the peachy brown color would be more wearable for me but when I swatched it on my hand, it looked like a self tan gone wrong, haha.
So this Cheek Tint is basically a liquid blush but with a pretty intens and bright color. Korean Beauty is known for a pale face with bright pink cheeks, giving the person a cute look. Also, tints are popular in Korean Beauty because they stain your skin more so it won’t wear of and because tints are multi use. This one is sold for the cheeks but it is also really nice on the lips.
The Cheek Tint is a really thin liquid so you will have to be cautious with using the product. The small little dot of product I used was already way to much, because it spreads out real easy and there’s a lot of pigmentation to it.
The tube of the Cheek Tint has a special applicator which you can use, but I find that the tube dispenses way to much product for the applicator to be practical. I apply the Cheek Tint on my hand at first and then I apply it with my finger tips on my cheeks. To tone down the color a bit, I blend the product really well with a beauty sponge afterwards.
The Sweet Cheeks blush & highlight palette was really popular because in the store where I went, there were only a few left and they were all dirty or broken. But I wanted this palette so bad so I decided to go with a little damaged Lemon Sherbet, but nothing too bad.
This palette contains four shades that are Cherry Flavored. They do actually smell a bit like cherry but I mostly smell chemicals through it. It’s not as bad as the PS Shadow & Shade The Berry Edit Eye Shadow (Primark Beauty) that I recently reviewed, but it’s still not pleasant to inhale it strongly.
Two of the shades (Candy Floss and Bon Bon) are for my pale skin only do-able as blushes, but they are really shimmery (I don’t mind a sheen in my blush, but I don’t want it shimmery), so I’ll probably only use it on my eyes (Candy Floss also works when mixed with the two lighter shades as a highlighter).
The little hearts with faces are the cutest thing ever, if you ask me! Real Korean Beauty vibes!

The best thing of this whole palette is that all the shades swatch pretty damn well! All the shades are creamy and not too powdery. They apply nicely to the skin with a brush and with fingers.
Candy Floss and Bon Bon are pigmented really well, when applied on the face you can still see the color really well and the shimmer is beautiful. Candy Floss is a rose gold/bronze kind of shade with subtle but all over golden shimmer. It reflects the light beautifully. Bon Bon is a bright and warm pink with a shimmer that looks like silver and gold mixed together.
Jelly Bean is a purple highlighter with pink/purple reflection. Lemon Sherbet is a yellow with a yellow/golden reflection. I say reflection for these two shades because you can’t really see any shimmer like in Candy Floss and Bon Bon, but the shades do reflect the light really pretty.
For this look I am wearing the Cheek Tint on the apples of my cheeks (I blended it out really well so it would look like a healthy pink flush and not like bright pink paint) and I also padded it on my lips.
For highlighter I mixed Jelly Bean en Lemon Sherbet. The glow that all the for Cheek Shades give is amazing. It reflects the light so beautifully and gives my cheeks a intense glow.
The eyeshadow that I am wearing is also something from Primark but you will read more on that soon!
The Cheek Tint was nice to experiment with and I might use it on my lips in the future, but not so much on my cheeks. The Sweet Cheeks palette is the one I really really recommend if you like a cute, intense and budget friendly highlighter and you don’t mind the fun colors.
Would you wear a bright pink cheek tint?
