A little while back I added Vanilla Quartz to the Becca highlighter family. Since I bought Moonstone as my first Becca highlighter, I fell in love and I have no regrets for every single Becca highlighter I’ve added to the family.
So my recent addition is Vanilla Quartz: a highlighter that started as a Limited Edition packaging but is now a permanent shade. I really wanted to get my hands on the LE packaging though, because its’ way more beautiful than the ‘regular’ black with silver.
The compact of Vanilla Quartz is yellow/rose gold-ish and is beautiful, just like all the other LE compacts.
Vanilla Quartz is described as ‘A creamy, light gold shade with pink pearl’ and that description is on point. In the pan you see a white/beige shade but when you apply it, it has the most beautiful soft pink glow.
Vanilla Quartz is (just like all the other Becca highlighters) really pigmented and has good color pay off. It’s creamy and soft, but not powdery nor too ‘wet’.
The swatches are from left to right: Vanilla Quartz, Vanilla Quartz blended out, Moonstone and Moonstone blended out. The two shades are very, very similar but Vanilla Quartz is less yellow and has a warmer glow because of the pink pearl.
At first I was hesitant to buy this shade because I thought it might be too white for me. But I was totally wrong about that (luckily). It actually gives me a beautiful, warm gold meets pink glow.
Don’t you adore this glow?! I know I do! It’s the perfect summer highlight for me because the warm gold (but not too yellow) glow goes perfectly with a summer tan.
Welcome to the Becca family: Vanilla Quartz! 🙂
Vanilla Quartz is yet another hit from the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors Pressed. Did you already get your hands on it?
