It’s December 1st and you know I am very very excited about that! Time for Christmas music, festive decoration and Vlogmas by my favorite Youtubers. I decided that this year, I wanted to do something special for December as well. I’m introducing you to: Beauty Blogmas 2018! I will be posting on Weeks of Beauty every day through the month of December. Keep your eyes peeled and don’t forget to follow Weeks of Beauty, either by clicking the ‘follow’ button with WordPress or by leaving your e-mail. Happy blogging and I hope you all have the best December month! XOXO
We’re starting off Beauty Blogmas 2018 with my Black Friday Haul. Last year I was in Santa Barbara, CA with Black Friday so I had the ‘real’ Black Friday experience (but less crazy because apparently everybody in Santa Barbara likes to sleep in, even on Black Friday). This year, lot’s of stores in the Netherlands had amazing discounts as well so I used my day off from work well: with some shopping!
These are all the lovely goodies I purchased with some nice Black Friday discounts. I got it from two stores: Ici Paris XL and Douglas.
At Ici Paris XL I bought one Philosophy Hands of Hope hand and cuticle cream. It comes in this cute ornament packaging. I bought this one with a 25% discount and after using the hand cream at home, I remembered how amazing this hand cream is so I ordered three more online (thee because it gave me a 30% discount).
On Thursday evening I placed an order at Douglas (everything with a 25% discount) which came with two gifts: the La Vie Est Belle mini perfume by Lancôme and the mini Becca highlighter in Opal.
On Black Friday I also went to the store to grab some more products (couldn’t resist) and there I got this Clinique mascara as a gift.
I love that Douglas is doing more and more gifts with purchase recently, because it makes shopping with them even more fun and it’s like we have our own Sephora :).
The first thing I bought at Douglas is the MAC Hyper Real Glow highlighting palette in Flash + Awe. It’s been on my wishlist for so long so this was the best opportunity to finally go for it. I am loving it so far, the highlighters are so intense and gorgeous! Review on it coming this Blogmas!
I’ve been curious about the Instaclean Waterless Sponge and Brush Cleansing Spray by Beautyblender for a while now. I still have to try it out but once I’ve got an opinion on it (how amazing would it be if it actually worked?!), I’ll get back to you.
I grabbed some products I’ve been dying to try for Weeks of Beauty. The new MAC lipstick formula Powder Kiss Lipstick in Mull it Over, the Dior Ultra Rouge lipstick in 485 – Ultra Lust and the Benefit Roller Lash mini.
Usually when Douglas has a nice discount, it doesn’t apply on brands like MAC, Benefit and Origins. Naturally I used the Black Friday discount (applied on every brand) to stock up on my current favorite gel moisturizer and eye cream. Both are from the Ginzing collection by Origins.
What did you get this Black Friday?
