Welcome to Beauty Blogmas Day 4! Today I’ve got a review on the newest lipstick launch from Charlotte Tilbury for you.

I haven’t been into Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks for long but I am so glad I started trying them out because the Matte Revolution formula is so great (review here). Charlotte Tilbury recently came out with a new formula: the Superstar Lips. She launched some new shades but also existing shades like Pillow Talk in this formula.

The formula is described as ‘Combining the high shine of a gloss and the staying power of a lipstick, this innovative, cushiony texture glides onto your lips with a creamy feel. With a luminous, rich glossy finish to create lips to lead astray, this limited edition lipstick is a must-have this holiday season.’ and it contains all kinds of good ingredients like hyaluronic acid for hydration.

Sounds promising, right?!

I picked up two shades of the Superstar Lips: Pillow Talk and Wild Lips.

Wild Lips is described as a berry pink and Pillow Talk is described as a Dreamy Nude Pink.

As you can see, the lipsticks are indeed very glossy.

I am wearing Pillow Talk in the left picture and Wild Lips in the right picture.

The formula is creamy and light weight. It almost feels like a lip balm. It does glide around pretty easy so for me that means that I have to check how the lipstick looks on the lips a lot. That being said, the product can be applied without a mirror because the bullet is slim and the product so creamy.

With just one swipe you have a hint of shiny color, just like a lip balm. The product is very very easy to build up though so with two or three layers there’s a lot of color pay-off making the coverage high and the color pay-off great.
