Dior Ulta Rouge lipstick in 485 Ultra Lust (Blogmas Day 14)

Welcome to Blogmas Day 14! Today I’ve got a gorgeous lipstick for you today that is part of a new lipstick formula that Dior recently launched. I saw videos by Beauty Youtubers that got the PR package and it looked so gorgeous and promising that it was time to try a shade out myself. The packaging of the lipstick (and other products from the launch) is red like the famous red Dior 999 shade.

This is the Dior Rouge Dior Ultra Rouge Ultra Pigmented Hydra Lipstick Weightless Wear in 485 Ultra Lust. Longest name in the world, wow. Let’s just call it the Dior Ultra Rouge lipstick, haha.

I believe Dior came out with a whole collection to celebrate their famous red shade 999.

How gorgeous and luxurious is this packaging?

The shade 485 Ultra Lust is described by Temptalia as a a muted, medium-dark pink with soft, warm undertones and a satin finish.

(The gorgeous glam on the eyes is the Essence Christmas eyeshadow palette).

The lipstick is very smooth when applied and glides on effortlessly. I can feel that the lipstick is hydrating so that is very nice. Even though the lipstick feels a bit like a thick lip balm, there is a lot of pigmentation with just one layer.

The lipstick is smooth but not too smooth so the application is also easy to be precise. When the product is setting it feels a bit sticky but not in an uncomfortable way. The lipstick is not transfer proof at all but it can transfer a couple of times before fading.

I like the shade of this lipstick and I think the formula feels very comfortable on the lips. Overall I don’t think the lipstick is very special or something unique. It is a good buy but you don’t have to have it.

Have you tried a Dior lipstick before?
