Welcome to Blogmas Day 15! In my search for the perfect skincare I finally found a moisturizer that I love enough to repurchase and blog about. Here’s a peek at what I’ve been loving!
This is the Origins GinZing skincare line. Origins says about the line: Wake up tired skin with our energizing GinZing treatments fortified with Coffee Beans and Panax Ginseng to instantly restore your get-up-and-glow.
I got into Origins after getting a Voxbox from Influenster with three products from Original Skin line. I learnt more about the brand and I purchased myself a gift set from the Ginzing line and I’ve been loving it since then.
The Ginzing line has an Energy-Boosting Gel Moisturizer, a Rich Moisturizer and a Hydrating Cream. In the morning I always use the Energy-Boosting Gel Moisturizer because it’s light weight, cooling, it sinks into my skin very fast, it smells amazingly fresh and it gives my skin a gorgeous glow.
Love love love it! Applying the moisturizer feels like refreshing my face with cool water.
The jar I’m using currently is almost out of product so I already purchased a new jar during the Black Friday sale at Douglas.
For the night I am currently loving the Belif True Cream Aquabomb because it’s a little bit thicker and sinks into my skin so nice. It makes my skin very soft.
If you want to try something from the Origins Ginzing line: this Gel Moisturizer is it!
I also recently repurchased the Origins Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream to Brighten and Depuf. It’s still not the perfect eye cream but it comes close. The cream feels so refreshing under my eyes and it also gives the skin under my eyes a healthy sheen that takes the focus of any bags or dark circles.
After loving the Gel Moisturizer and Eye Cream so much I wanted to try more products from the line. This Ginzing Energy-Boosting Treatment Lotion Mist looked promising so I picked it up.
First thing that I don’t like about it is the awful spray. It basically throws some drops of product in your face, it’s not a nice mist that covers the whole face at all.
I do apply it by spraying it on a cotton pad and tapping that all over my face. It is indeed refreshing! I have yet to test it some more to be able to give an opinion about it’s function besides the refreshing.
The last product I’ve been trying out from the Origins Ginzing line is the Ginzing Peel-Off Mask to Refine and Refresh.
I’m just gonna say that I don’t like this mask. The product is indeed a good peel-off mask because it dries quickly and well so that you can actually peel the mask off easily without needing to wash your face afterwards to get all the residue off. It also does soften my face majorly so it does a good job at refining.
What I don’t like about this mask is that when applying it, there’s a strong scent or something to it that makes my eyes water and sting. It’s not a very user friendly and apparently not a skin/eyes friendly mask so I’d say to skip out on this mask.
Here’s me looking ridiculous while wearing the metallic bright orange mask :).
So bottom line: the Origins Ginzing Gel Moisturizer is amazing, the Eye Cream nice, the Mist is okay and the mask is not a favorite.
What is your favorite skin care line?
That moisturizer sounds amazing! Gel always works the best for my skin, I’m going to ask for a sample at Sephora!

My skin also likes gel the best, especially when there’s not much time in the morning for the moisturizer to sink in. Hope you’ll like it 🙂
