Welcome to Blogmas Day 23! I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas Time! Can’t believe how fast it goes by every single year. I spend the weekend before Christmas with friends and Christmas itself with family. Now I’ve got some catching up to do for Blogmas in December :). I’ve already chatted about the PS… (Primark Beauty) recent collection that look pretty nice and have some obvious dupes in it. Today I’ve got a product that makes me think a lot (a lot a lot) about the Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadows.
The PS… Holiday Collection contains quite some lovely products. You can see more of the collection in the blog I wrote about the eye pigments. In the picture above you can see what products I’ve picked up from the collection. I stopped by Primark in Amsterdam after work a couple of days ago because I hoped to find more shades of the liquid glitter eyeshadow and of the highlighter, but unfortunately I had no luck.
The Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow is available in four shades. I could only find this one, the silver shade. The packaging is easy, fun and festive.
The packaging is giving me major Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow vibes but I’m not mad about it, as long as it’s going to be a good dupe, because the Stila ones cost quite some bucks more.
The applicator is very similar as well. The only difference there is that the applicator of the Primark product is more fluffy. It also picks up less product at once but that might be due to the difference in formula that I’m going to tell you about next.
Left is the PS… Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow in Silver swatched and on the right is the Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in Diamond Dust.
PS…’s Silver is more of a gold silver where Stila’s Diamond Dust is a grey silver with multi color glitters in it. The obvious difference is that the Stila Liquid Eyeshadow is way more opaque, more intense in both color and shine, has more and bigger glitter particles and is thicker in formula.
The PS… Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow is a nice budget proof product that’s wonderful to try out and for giving your eye look something extra, but if you really want the glitter then I’d still recommend spending more on the Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadows. Stila also has multiple sets with mini sized products available and I believe I even saw individual mini’s for sale online at Ulta, so you don’t have to spend too much when you just want to give the Stila product a go first.
What is your favorite liquid glitter eyeshadow product? Can’t wait to hear your recommendations!
