For the Allure Beauty Box of December 2018 NikkieTutorials curated the box, filling it with some amazing products. One of these amazing products is the Juvia’s Place The Nubian mini eyeshadow palette making the box already a great edition for me, because I’ve been very curious to try out Juvia’s Place eyeshadows, since NikkieTutorials is always raving about it.
The Nubian Mini is a tiny version of The Nubian palette, which is a best seller at Juvia’s. This palette is cute, small and contains six beautiful shades that are enough to create a couple of looks.
These are the six shades I am always looking for when I want to make a look with brown-ish shades. You’ve got two great transition shades, a good outer corner shade, two gorgeous eyelid shades and a lighter, popping shade for in the inner corner or on the eye lid as well.
Gosh these shades! The mattes are great, nothing very special though, but they work, have pigmentation and are smooth. The orange/brown shade on the left was a bit less creamy than the others though because it needs more blending and building up on the eye, but it’s still a great shade without any fall out.
I am in love with the shimmer shades and especially the lightest. It’s AMAZING how creamy, smooth, pigmented and glowy this shade is. This is the definition of a metallic shimmer shade. Love it!
So in summary: the mattes are great but not THE best mattes I’ve ever tried, though they are definitely top 3. They are smooth and very easy to work it on the eyes.
The shimmers are amazing: smooth, glowy and pigmented well. They are gorgeous on the eyes as well, especially the light metallic one!
If all the eyeshadows by Juvia’s Place are like these guys, then I know for sure that the palettes are amazing and totally worth your money, because it’s so inexpensive for this quality of eyeshadow!
I love how this look came out. The mattes were so easy to blend in the crease and I’m still very obsessed with the light metallic shade. Look at how gorgeous it is on the eyes and how it makes my eyes bright and glowy and wonderful.
This little palette is a true winner for me and I will definitely be using this more often!
