At first I was pretty hesitant to purchase this blush because it’s quite expensive and I didn’t know if it was going to be special or not. After the launch and the first restock, the blush sold out so fast that I couldn’t think twice about maybe wanting it anyway. The thought of the Pillow Talk blush didn’t leave my head though and after seeing all these positive reviews, I decided to treat myself to it at last! And I am very glad I did!
The packaging is sleek, pretty thin and light weight but oh so classy, like the other Charlotte Tilbury products.
The Cheek to Chic blush is also known as the ‘nipple blush’ because of the design and with reversed shades, it can totally see where that comes from, haha.
The Pillow Talk shade is described as: ‘Two-tone pink and champagne powder blush.’
This shade is totally one is love: a subtle, brown-ish pink shade with a little bit of a sheen. The lighter shade in the middle is meant to give the blush a brighter glow or to be used separately. I love to use the shade in the middle on it’s own as a highlighter, so it’s a two in one deal for me!
On the left is the outer shade of blush, the middle swatch is the inner part and the swatch on the right is both shades mixed. I love all three shades so much and it suits my skin tone very well. I actually think that this is one of those shades that goes well with everyones skin tone.
I do think though that if your skin is deep, that this blush might not show up because it is pretty subtle. Keep that in mind before buying the Pillow Talk, maybe swatch it first.
The product is very creamy and light weight. The product is cohesive (not sure what word would be right here) because it gives enough coverage and pigmentation in one go.
However, this product is so lightly pressed that the kick back in the pan when picking the product up with a brush, is extreeeeme. I feel like I am wasting product actually when going in with a brush but I don’t really know another way to pick up the product to get the subtle flush of blush.
Here I am wearing a light layer of the Pillow Talk blush, with both shades mixed together. I love the fresh, healthy flush it gives me on the cheeks. I love the product most on the apples of my cheeks because when I take it back just below the high points of my cheeks, it get’s a little too bright and glowy together with my highlighter.
Also, I you’re wondering whether I’m always wearing the same sweater or not: yes, yes I am, haha. I love this sweater so so much because it’s crazy cozy and comfortable, so whenever I’m home, I’m wearing this sweater :).
The Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Cheek to Chic is perfect for anyone who loves a subtle and fresh flush of blush!
Ooo, I love that! Very pretty color 🙂 And it’s ok, I literally have two hoodies I wear all the time haha

[…] have a winner in lipstick world! 🙂 I love the entire Pillow Talk collection as well. The Cheek to Chic blush in Pillow Talk is one of my two staple blushes and the eyeshadow quad in Pillow Talk is often in use as well. […]
