Everyone knows and lots love the Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzers. I also love the Butter Blush in Plum Rose (it’s my everyday blush) and the Butter Highlighter in Pearl. When I heard that the brand was coming out with a Butter Eyeshadow Palette and Butter Lip Creams, I was stoked and ofcourse I had to try it out! I picked up one of the eyeshadow palette (you will read about that on Weeks of Beauty in the future) and three of the lip creams. Let’s take a look!
I picked up the shades Soaking Up the Sun (nude peach), Mauvin’ To Brazil (mauve) and Açai Berry (plum berry).
From left to right: Soaking Up the Sun, Mauvin’ to Brazil and Açai Berry. What jumps out is how pigmented this Lip Creams are and how intense smooth (almost like they’re melted) and shiny they are.
The consistency is not very even, you can see that it’s patchy on some spots. But, the pigmentation is so great that you hardly need a second layer so there won’t be much patchiness when applied on the lips.

The Lip Creams are a bit hard to apply neatly because the stick is so big. You could already tell by the picture of the bullets that the product goes everywhere on the bullet as well. They have a pretty strong, fruit-like scent. It’s not very nice for lip product, but I does not bother me too much when I’m wearing the product.
The product is very hydrating and creamy on the lips, yet a little bit sticky. I’m very happy with the pigmentation, coverage and evenness on the lips. Because the product is so creamy they do slide around quite a lot and you will notice that because of their great pigmentation. Even with the sliding around and fading, they do have alright staying power for a product this creamy.
In conclusion: it’s a nice products for hydrated and shiny lips. It’s a plus that there’s SPF 15 in the product, which is great for in spring and summer. However, this is not a product that’s low maintenance, so it’s not something I’d see myself wearing a lot.
