Tatcha skincare haul

Lately my skin has been having a hard time whenever I’m trying out new skincare products. Even using products made for sensitive skin usually ends up in some kind of irritation on my face. I decided to step back on trying all this new stuff and to stick to the brands and products that already proved to be a good match for my skin.

The result of this is that I’m only using the Origins Ginzing gel moisturizer, alternated with Tatcha The Water Cream. I’m cleansing my face with Tatcha One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil and exfoliating it once a week with Tatcha Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder. Since I was running out of some of the products it was time to place a little order at Tatcha!

I ordered a travel set: three travel sized products of your choise with this cute Tatcha make-up bag. I got three samples and a miniature freebie with my order.

These are the cute little products I went for. Tatcha is an expensive brand so this time I only picked up some travel sized products. This summer I will travel to Canada and that’s the perfect moment to take some full sized products back home.

I picked up the Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil in a travel size and got a miniature as a freebie. I love this cleansing oil. It makes my skin extremely soft and it helps take of the remains of my make-up.

I ran out of my previous bottle so it was time to grab a new one!

I am on the hunt for a good new sunscreen and since I enjoy Tatcha products so much, I am curious to see how their sunscreen does. This is a travel sized (it’s tiny!) Silken Pore Perfecting Sunscreen broad SPF35 PA+++.

My first impression is that it smells like your typical sunscreen which I absolutely love, but I’ve heard people not wanting their sunscreen to smell like that. I have yet to use it on my face but as soon as I’ve got an opinion, I’ll let you know!

I’ve been using the Tatcha The Rice Polish classic for a while now and it does a great job of gently exfoliating my skin. However, it makes my cheeks incredibly dry so I want to try this calming version.

I got this Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream mini a few weeks back on Ebay after hearing amazing things about this cream. It’s a pretty thick but not oily, cream. If you need some great hydration for the skin and you want your skin to be glowy, this is THE cream.

However, for me it only works before I go to sleep because it’s way too moisturizing and thick for me to wear it in the day time. I prefer The Water Cream because it’s sinks into my skin almost immediately.

I choose these three samples because they sound very promising as well. Let’s see how I like them and if my skin can handle the ingredients, and I might pick them up in full size this summer as well!

Have you ever tried a product by Tatcha? Which one was that and did you like it? I’d love to see your recommendations!
