London Haul

Recently I took a wonderful five day trip to London with Jenny to visit our friend Jamie. We had such a good time and we saw so much of the city. Obviously we also made some time for shopping and here’s my beauty haul!

These are all the goodies I picked up!

On the first day we stopped by the Charlotte Tilbury store in Covent Garden. Such a pretty store and really fun to see all the products together. In the Netherlands we only have small counters in other stores for Charlotte Tilbury. The most recent launch, the Walk of Shame Luxury Palette for the eyes just became available in store and I loved the swatches and color story, so I picked it up along with the Matte Revolution lipstick in the same shade Walk of Shame.
I also grabbed a new Magic Away concealer in shade 3 because I just ran out of it!

I have to say that I don’t wear concealer often anymore because my skin is in great shape and I have a tan with freckles going on, but when I do wear concealer I go for the Magic Away concealer because it makes my under eyes so radiant and healthy looking!

At Selfridges I ran into a Laura Mercier counter and I saw their popular Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Concealer. I just wanted to shade match myself so I could pick it up later, but after finding out I was more neutral than cool toned, I decided to pick it up anyway. Can’t wait to try this one out!

Even though I didn’t pick these to up while in London, I did order them from the UK (via Harvey Nichols) before I went on my trip and they were waiting for me on my arrival at home.

I have been wanting to pick up one of the Marc Jacobs Beauty O!mega Glaze luminizers for so long but I could never find a retailer that would ship to the Netherlands. Sephora France did sell the Worth the Wait shade, but ironically I waited to long before ordering it and it sold out.

Marc Jacobs Beauty just launched their Holiday 2019 Collection named Lust & Stardust and it has some bomb glittery packaging and a gorgeous highlighter, so I decided to pick that one up as well. It’s the O!mega Glaze all-over foil luminizer in Showstopper (the peachy pink on the left). On the right is the O!mega Glaze all-over foil luminizer in Wo!rth the Wait (from the Spring 2019 collection).

Really excited to give both a whirl!

At the London Gatwick Airport on our way back home, we had some time to kill and besides enjoying a Wagamama lunch, I did some make-up swatching and discovering. I noticed a new lipstick launch by MAC, the Love Me lipsticks.

They are described as: A weightless argan oil-infused lipstick that delivers an instant hit of powerful colour and all-day moisture in a luxurious satin-soft finish.

Sounded good to me and I found a gorgeous color in a my lips but better (and more pink) shade!

It’s the MAC Love Me lipstick in shade 405 Under the Covers.

Here I am wearing the shade. On the eyes is the Charlotte Tilbury The Easy Smokey Eye Palette that I wrote about last week (check it out here).

Last but not least I found this brilliant brush holder and set by MAC. I knew it existed but only on airports and in special stores so I had never seen it before. It’s even better in real life and I put it in my cart right away!

It’s a giant MAC lipstick case that looks awesome on my vanity, but it’s brush holder and contains four travel sized brushes (highlighter brush, flat eyeshadow brush, blending brush and an angled eyeliner/brow brush).

I’m in love! 🙂
