Last week I wrote about the Walk of Shame Luxury Palette (eyeshadow quad) and about how much I adore the shades.
The eyeshadow palette is inspired on the Matte Revolution lipstick shade Walk of Shame which is also a gorgeous shade.
I absolutely love the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipsticks in general so it was no surprise that I would love the Walk of Shame shade as well, especially because of it’s berry shade.
This is the lipstick swatches on the right of the eyeshadow quad swatches. I am not completely sure about how the lipstick and the eyeshadow quad go together because they differ quite a lot in undertones. The eyeshadow quad is way more brown orientated, whereas the lipstick is more of a berry shade.
The lipstick has great coverage and color payoff. The lipstick is not extremely matte, more like satin (you can see a bit of shine on the lips). The formula is very comfortable to wear and stays on for a couple of hours. It does move around when you are drinking or eating, but overall it will last pretty well and only fades a bit when you’ll eat.
Here are some comparison swatches. On the left is Pillow Talk (Matte Revolution), in the middle is Walk of Shame (Matte Revolution) and on the right is Very Victoria (Matte Revolution).
At this moment, the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipsticks are my absolute favorite high end lipsticks. The Walk of Shame shade is one I will be using a lot because it’s a good shade match for me :).
